After work or on weekends- What fits your schedule?
We’re flexible! We understand families are busier than ever. Our instructors are available to schedule lessons six days a week, including afternoons and evenings.
Group lessons may be scheduled for family members if appropriate, with special rates available for “blocks” of lessons accommodating consecutive family lessons.
In addition to private instruction, North Wind Stables provides these other fun activities:
Wednesday Evening Ridin’ and Cookout
Join us at the barn starting at 4 p.m. for riding lessons in a community atmosphere. This is the perfect time for the whole family to try a lesson. After enjoying the horses, come together on the deck for a cookout and potluck dinner.
Get to know your barn-mates as well as the famous North Wind menagerie!
Barn Fun Shows and Open House Events
Several times each year, North Wind hosts its own “barn shows” and open house events. This is a great time to invite your friends to see what you’ve been up to!
Friendly competition among riders is enhanced by our tradition of opening up the judging process, with the judge explaining his decisions to the riders and audience.
Nealia often invites students to center ring to try their hand at judging as well. This “judge’s-eye view” is invaluable for honing observation abilities and learning real show ring savvy.
